A new town. A new career. And a new beau.
For Sarah Kingman, it was like starting a new life. After caring for her invalid mother for the past three years, Sarah was back at school pursuing her dream of becoming a registered nurse.
Problem is, at 22 she doesn't have a lot in common with the other students and although the staff at the hospital has accepted her as "one of their own", she's still little more than a volunteer. Long hours of school, studies and working leave little time for making new friends, let alone dating.
That is, until she meets Tony. Cute, charming, exciting in a "bad boy" kind of way. Maybe her luck is looking up, after all.
When Tony starts showing signs of possessiveness and wants to push the relationship faster than she's comfortable with, Sarah decides that maybe it's time to check in with her Aunt Caroline Dawson, an expert who is used to spotting warning signs in people's handwriting.
Sarah knows she's definitely attracted to Tony, but these days a girl can't be too careful.

Made For Another Caroline Dawson Series Book 1 eBook Alesha Cary
Made for Another was something of a surprise for me because I was expecting a romance story about a couple of bikers. It started out that way but soon headed in an entirely different direction, with new elements popping up right through to the end of the book. I found some thrilling and mysterious things slipping into the story as it wound its way through to the end and it includes some really interesting scenes which revolve around interpreting handwriting and how you can pick up some vital information about someone by examining their handwriting.I thought the characters were entirely believable and the setting was also well described and wound into the story. Now while some people might find the plot deviations distracting, I found it held my attend from start to finish because I never knew what was coming next - and I like that a lot in a book.
The book was also well written and I like that too. It also has a comfortable feel to it, as if you were reading about old friends from familiar places.
There is a lot of narrative at the beginning, however it takes you into the story in a casual way before the action starts.
I notice that Alesha Carey has 2 other books planned to make a series of Caroline Dawson stories, so I will be looking forward to more from this author. I absolutely love well written, comfortable yet interesting stories.

Made For Another Caroline Dawson Series Book 1 eBook Alesha Cary Reviews
Very entertaining. Well written, good characterisations and the story keeps moving along, though I did get a bit impatient towards the end. Easily read in one sitting which keeps you right in the midst of it all.
I loved this book because it helps when you look for signs in relationships. Give someone a chance and don't jump to conclusions, but also watch what triggers another's emotions.
I really enjoyed this romance story, it reminds me of books I used to read in days gone by. It has a good story, well rounded characters and a nice twist at the end. It also has a sense of impending danger and a happy ending. All the ingredients for a good escape from reality.
I shall be looking for more books from this author.
A good sweet romance. A nursing student deals with a abusive guy. Can she learn to trust men and will she be able to find her soul mate? I recommend you read this short romance story.
Just finished reading Made for Another and instantly checked for more books by the author, Alesha Cary. Interesting concept as Caroline Dawson is a handwriting expert, a topic I've always been interested in. Her niece meets someone who she thinks might be the love interest she is looking for, only to be disappointed in his behavior. Sarah goes to her aunt and finds out why through a note he has written to her.
The strong characters and fast pace will keep readers engrossed in the story. The twists and turns keep the tension taut and the ending satisfying.
I was looking for some lighter reading (as opposed to my typical non-fiction) when I came across this book. I really enjoyed the story and thought it was well written. I loved that it was not too long and actually finished the book in one sitting. I would definitely pick up another book by this author.
I like this short romance story a lot - a great setting, characters that are believable, a nice change of direction, and I love the way the handwriting expert is brought in.
Also, it was nice to see a first-time story that was well-formatted with none of the glaring mistakes (e.g. typos, grammar) that seem so prevalent in today's world of "never mind the quality, feel the width."
I look forward to more Caroline Dawson stories by this author (as I find that aspect particularly intriguing).
